Superbox S3 Pro vs Elite 2: Which Android TV Box is Better?

If you’re looking for an affordable Android TV box to stream content to your TV, two popular options are the Superbox S3 Pro and the Superbox Elite2. But which one is better? Here’s a detailed breakdown of the Superbox S3 Pro vs Elite2 to help you decide.

Superbox S3 Pro: The Basics

The Superbox S3 Pro is one of the more popular Android TV boxes, offering solid performance at an affordable price.

It runs the Android 9.0 operating system and comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

It supports 6K  video playback and comes with Bluetv and Bluevod and other popular streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, and more.

The Superbox S3 Pro retails for around $299.

For basic streaming needs, the S3 Pro works great. It lets you access over 5,000 streaming apps and games and supports popular services like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube in up to 4K resolution.

Especially BlueTV and BlueVod allow you to watch 1000+ HD live tv channels free, and 10000+ HD movies free.

The 2GB of RAM and quad-core processor are enough for most streaming and casual gaming.

And with its compact design, the Superbox S3 Pro is easy to set up and use.

The S3 Pro is a good all-around option if you’re looking for an Android TV box but are on a budget.

For the price, it delivers solid performance for streaming media, web browsing, and some casual games.

Superbox Elite 2: More Powerful but Pricier

The Superbox Elite 2 is an upgrade model of the S3 Pro, with more advanced specs.

It runs Android 9.0 Pie, has a faster processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage.

However, the improved performance and storage dodo come at a higher price – the Elite 2 retails for around $399

The Elite 2 offers very similar options as the S3 Pro for streaming and software, but the increased specs do allow for smoother navigation and playback, especially when streaming 4K content or playing more graphics-intensive games.

The extra storage means more space for apps, media, and games.

For many, the performance boost and storage increase of the Elite2  is worth the price bump over the standard S3 Pro.

With its more memory, the Elite 2 provides better overall performance than the S3 Pro which helps with intense streaming, gaming, and multitasking.

Features and Benefits of Elite 2:

Which is Better? It Depends On Your Needs

When deciding between the Superbox S3 Pro vs Elite, it comes down to how much power and storage you need. If you’re on a tight budget and primarily stream standard HD content, the S3 Pro should work great for most needs. However, if you stream a lot of 4K video, play graphics-intensive games, or just want more storage, the S3 Elite is probably worth the extra cost.

For many, the Superbox S3 Pro offers plenty of functionality for basic streaming and entertainment needs. It provides a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage, which is enough for streaming HD content as well as some light web browsing and casual games. However, its older Android version and limited specs won’t satisfy power users looking to stream 4K video or play advanced games.

In contrast, the Superbox Elite 2, with its 4GB of RAM, 32GB storage, and Android 9.0 operating system can better handle 4K streaming, gaming, and multitasking. It provides faster performance for only slightly more money, but for those on a tight budget, the extra fees may not fit their needs.

In summary, you can’t go wrong with either the Superbox S3 Pro or the Elite2. Both offer solid performance for streaming media and run Android. But if you want 4K streaming, gaming, and overall faster performance, the Elite2 may fit better, though at a steeper price. For most casual streamers though, the standard S3 Pro should work great for streaming content to your TV at an affordable price.

  1. I don’t find the Elite 2 to be a game changer over the S3 Pro. It’s just not enough to move the needle. The best price and option would be the S3 Pro easy decision.

  2. I only buy Elite 2 or 3. Blu TV screws up at times. I can jump.to Channel Up or Elite TV and watch whatever is missing or freezing on Blu TV. Elite 2 or Elitev3 hands down.
